Maybe I'm a dysfunctional person, maybe I have no respect for the other sex, maybe I don't respect myself, or maybe, just maybe I'm a self aware human being that understands that the concept of life long monogamy is not a natural choice, its a trained decision.
I don't advocate cheating, I don't advocate lies, and I'm not here to argue the stupid shyt that happens in relationships. However, I am here to speak for those people who think there is more to life than a singular, repetitive and mundane relationship. I'm here to speak for people who accept the fact that you can care for someone emotionally and mentally, but still want someone else physically. I believe that urge for someone or something else is more natural than the concept of monogamy. They say humans are not "animals" so we should not try to act like them. OK, but I have heard humans are the only mammals that have sex for pleasure; and if this is for pleasure, why should I not be pleased because someone else finds my behavior appalling? FOH!!
If you have come to the place in your life that you feel you can be with and will only want one person ever again, CONGRATS!!! I envy you for your beliefs and your idealism but most of you are naive, and i don't envy that. Between the ages of 15-35 if you feel like you have found the only person you're ever going to want to be with again I think that idea is delusional, really optimistic or really lucky, and if you're that lucky you should be playing lotto whenever you want and WIN. I'm currently about to be 30 and out of the hundreds of relationships that I have seen start since I was 15, I couldn't tell you ONE that I know has succeeded. So, WHY am I the ASSHOLE? Why are you guys not delusional? I'm tired of hearing "My Grand Parents are still together" Congrats to your Grand Parents, this is a different time and a different era, give me someone else other than Grandparents and MAYBE Parents.
Life offers something different to you every five years; for you to think you're relationship won't change (maybe for the better) and or deteriorate I am ASTONISHED!! What is it about you or your partner that is sooo fucking special that you think you're the exception to the obvious norm? I mean being optimistic is totally different from being delusional. I'm all for Optimism, but i cant really get with delusion? I'm attracted to totally different people at 30 than i was at 25. I was attracted to different people at 25 than i was at 20. What makes you think your taste won't change in your 5 years and your partner won't change as well. Wanting someone else is a natural human feeling and emotion. However, I think that the overwhelmingly stronger emotion is that of losing someone. People are scared to be honest, people are scared to lose someone they like. This fear is often the downfall of many relationships because they will lie, cheat and deceive to hold one to what they want. If people could just realize that often the mental and emotional part of a relationship can easily grow stronger over time, but physical part of the relationship usually deteriorates over time. Once again, a mental and emotional relationship is very different from a physical one, STOP trying to make them mutually inclusive, they are very mutually exclusive.
So i said all that to say this .... AIN'T NO PUSSY LIKE NEW PUSSY ....
But I understand how knowing someones pussy can make the experience a bit more emotionally gratifying, but that doesn't always its more EXCITING!!!

What constitutes a 'BEST FRIEND'?
I hear those words used quite often! Best Friend!
What does that really mean to people?
I know I am guilty of the excessive use of the words myself, and just like everyone else I have a reason for why I use it so often. Personally, I'm someone who does not get too close to people, I'm a very public person w/ a very private life so if i feel comfortable confiding in you, I consider you a best friend.
What do you think a best friend is supposed to be? Is it someone you feel comfortable speaking with? Is it someone that knows you the longest? Is it someone that knows your deepest secrets? Is it someone who you feel would never let you down or do anything against you that you don't like?
Maybe I'm a skeptic because I believe that different friends offer different things to your life and your relationship. I don't agree or think it is possible for one friend to encompass all that a "Best Friend" should by definition offer to the relationship.
I think a singular best friend is childish because as a child your needs are childish. As people grow up they grow out and become more complex, people who have known you the longest may not understand the person you are now. However, ppl you relate to now, you probably can not trust like those who have known you the longest.
Do you think people can really have multiple 'BEST FRIENDS' , or is that just a title people use like 'Shorty' ? Because Honestly, you can have many shorties, but you can only have one Boyfriend / Girlfriend.

Systems have existed forever, and they work when the people who are enforcing it actually enforce and not abuse it. The misuse of the criminal justice system is disheartening to me in NYC's urban neighborhoods. I have never claimed to be a gangsta - however, i have also never claimed to be a saint. I have managed to stay out of the NYC Criminal Justice system for almost 30 yrs. Unfortunately i was recently subjected to the blatant misuse, mishandling, and disrespect of the system handlers while they hid behind "the law" and "the system." This abuse is almost exclusively against African Americans, I AM DISGUSTED and APPALLED
I want you to tell me when was the last time a white person on the Upper East or West Side of Manhattan or even Tribeca have been arrested and put through the system for spitting, throwing away a cigarette in the street, jaywalking, trespassing, throwing away a bottle of beer (in the trash). These are the kind of offenses you had young black men arrested and violated for. You subject people to things that they should not, and I'm not OK w/ that.

A recent article in Haiti’s Le Matin newspaper has quoted 65 year old geologist and former professor at the Geological Institute of Havana, Patrick Charles, as stating that “conditions are ripe for major seismic activity in Port-au-Prince. The inhabitants of the Haitian capital need to prepare themselves for an event which will inevitably occur...” According to him, the danger is imminent. He ads “Thank God that science has provided instruments that help predict these types of events and show how we have arrived at these conclusions.”
According to Patrick Charles, Port-au-Prince is traversed by a large fault which is part of the Enriquillo Fault Zone. The fault starts in Petionville and follows the Southern Peninsula ending at Tiburon. In 1751 and 1771, this town was completely destroyed by an earthquake. As proof to his claims, he referred to recent tremors that have occurred in Petionville, Delmas, Croix des Bouquets, and La Plaine. Minor tremors such as these usually signal a larger earthquake to come.
Haiti is no stranger to large quakes with the destruction of Palais Sans Souci near the Citadelle in 1842. It has also been 200 years since any major seismic activity has occurred in Port-au-Prince. This means that the level of built up stress and energy in the earth could one day be released resulting in an earthquake measuring 7.2 or more on the Richter Scale. This would be an event of catastrophic proportions in a city with loose building codes, and an abundance of shanty-towns built in ravines and other undesirable locations. Even the super-rich may not be immune as many own homes with great views, but precariously perched on the mountainsides above Petionville, on ground which is also susceptible to landslides.
Although city officials often discuss this, it is noted that no measures have been put into place to address the situation. Mr. Charles mentions the following devastating scenarios: A giant tsunami reaching all the way to Lake Azuéi (aka Étang Saumâtre) flooding La Plaine, and the complete destruction of Morne l’Hopital which is currently dotted with flimsy shantytowns. If we thought the recent back-to-back hurricanes were devastating, they surely will pale in comparison to a major earthquake in the densely populated Haitian capital.
