Now, if you know me even a little bit, you know i love to play devil's advocate and I hate front running for the most part, unless I myself am the front runner, then hop on the bandwagon, lol.
I also am not a big fan of Hip Hop or Rap music, but i do listen to it and have been for a long time. You would also know that im a HUGE Jay-Z fan. Now, some people like to call me arrogant and cocky which i often like to refute, but it is what it is. By no means what so ever am i comparing myself to Hov, however in this instance, i do see a parallel and im going to speak on it.
Listen, if you are a broke, upcoming, 2 or 3 albums (maybe 1.2 -4 millions sold) you really should have to get permission to talk shyt about Hov or even mention his name. You are not in his weight class, in his tax bracket, in his skill bracket, in this legend bracket, in his fame bracket, in his cool bracket, not even in his bitch bracket (that being bitches he fucks w/ and bitches you fuck with). These corny ass little kids and thousandairs want to call out Jay-Z out his name and refer to him as "old man" are simply just ridiculous to me. You have no leg to stand on, you have no reputability, you are barely a local celeb and i think you should be fined for even coming out your face.
If you want to call Jay-Z an old man and have someone pay you any attention, get some of that Young Money he has, Sell some albums (not ring tones), Headline a world tour(not be the opening act before the opening act). If Jay-Z is such an old man, then respect your elders lil niggaz!
Now, as for me in this situation, im not Jay-Z I dont even have a lock on NYC, and if dont I challenge you to tell me who does. Anyway, my company and I (ShowcaseEnt) have been doing this for a long time and have done it with and against some of NYC legends and held our own and come up on top time and time again. So if you want to talk shyt about us or any one of us (especially me) do a party more than once a Quarter, call a club owner and go into a meeting, set up a deal, do a weekly party that last more than 4months, travel outside of NYC and do a party, shyt, travel outside BK or BX or Qns (thats if you even made it into Manhattan yet). Dont mention my name or my company name unless your asking for the damn guest list. You're trying to get to close and as Mack says "state your name and rank from a distance" I DONT KNOW YOU DUKE!!!!!! We (ShowcaseEnt) are humble ppl ... we came from humble beginnings, but we have earned respect and demand it. Our dues have been payed, now we will continue reaping our PROFITS!!!!!
