How she died is of no consequence. This [unfortunately] allowed him to take down that wall he's always had up and be more in tune with reality.

I don't think you should take full responsibility for the lives of others after you've made it but I do think you are responsible to a certain extent. I think after you have reached that point of success, you should make sure your closest loved ones are safe and financially stable amongst other things. But while the person's personal issues and decisions can be your concern, it shouldn't be your problem.

Suicide should NEVER become an option. That's only gonna worsen a situation (and send you to hell, lol - it's a sin damnit).

Right now, Kanye is going through something very difficult. I can only imagine because I've been fortunate enough to not lose my Mother but his actions aren't atypical. They are perfectly normal. Anyone who loses someone that close to them always takes the blame and has an "If I didn't do that, this wouldn't have happened" perspective.

He's right in saying that if he didn't reach that point of success, he probably would've never moved to Cali, and his Mom wouldn't have followed. They would've lived regular lives and she would not have been influenced by what Hollywood deems "perfect". But he shouldn't blame himself; he should blame the media.

That's just my take on it.Peggy M.https://www.blogger.com/profile/11697077005270818156noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8010253725280111018.post-16161841877164697052008-11-14T09:06:00.000-05:002008-11-14T09:06:00.000-05:00well they say .."what does not kill you makes you ...well they say ..
"what does not kill you makes you stronger"

what if you just are not that strong and it does kill you? Some people just have break from reality sometimes and guilt and depression can be overwhelming (i have seen it 1st hand)

I personally feel he was the catalyst to his mothers demise, but he is not the cause of it. Her vanity or insecurity if you may ( GOD BLESS THE DEAD, NO DISRESPECT INTENDED) i think was the cause of her demise. Having money does not change you, it just makes who you are more evident, and allows you to do certian things you want to but were unable to do beforeVegas Internationalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10955877723827057991noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8010253725280111018.post-10740666547513632132008-11-14T09:01:00.000-05:002008-11-14T09:01:00.000-05:00This comment has been removed by the author.Vegas Internationalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10955877723827057991noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8010253725280111018.post-5642775713387316162008-11-14T08:56:00.000-05:002008-11-14T08:56:00.000-05:00Deep post1. I think the article shows a side of Kanye that we hardly get to see...we see him being aggressive, cocky (even though I think its cute), and all about self. We now see that he desires love and affection...also, the bond between him and his mom was real and very strong.

2. I would say yes and no...you're responsible if you're directly involved, but if its indirectly (i.e. you had no clue as to what that person was going to do...their plans).

3. It's never an option. My spiritual belief won't allow me to think it's an option...everything will pass and you will become better and stronger. It may take time, but it will happen.Beautifully.Conjured.Uphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07406790625325877853noreply@blogger.com
